You may remember that I featured The Celtic Manor Resort’s Vintage Afternoon Tea on my blog back in August, and more recently I’ve also written about a Festive Afternoon Tea hamper they delivered to my home as a taster of their Christmas afternoon tea offering.

I would love to win as I recently experience my first “posh” afternoon tea and it was amazing – so I’d love the chance to treat mum again!

I agree they always seem to be a little heavy on the cakes though, and I have a very sweet tooth. We made the mistake of eating all the sandwiches first and I have learnt not to do that if I ever have the opportunity again, as it would have been nice to have a savoury “break” in between!

    • January 1, 2016 / 9:07 pm

Definitely. I was surprised at how much food the Celtic Manor include in their afternoon teas.

My husband and I stayed there a couple of years ago for a wedding but we didn’t have time to explore the whole place. It was so beautiful and have promised ourselves that we will go back but so far we haven’t managed it. I would love to win this lovely prize and would make the most of it by booking a night’s accommodation too! Thank you so much for this chance.

Thank you, and no problem. I’ve never stayed at The Celtic Manor Resort before but I’d love to, I bet it’s great. I’ve had a few meals there before, as well as the afternoon tea, and I’ve always been impressed!
