Happy St David’s Day – and welcome to the new The Rare Welsh Bit!

Happy St David’s Day!  I hope you’ve had a great day, whether you’ve been out for a Sunday roast dinner with the family, had a catch-up with friends or just spent the day lounging around the house.
I’ve spent most of the day working on my blog and you may have noticed that I now have a shiny new logo, and I’ve given my page content a much-needed refresh to improve readability and SEO.
Over the next few days, you’ll probably spot a few changes in the actual content that I’m posting too. You see, up
until recently I’ve been working on changing the focus of my blog so that I can write about the different places I explore on my travels, as well as what I eat. St David’s Day seemed like the ideal time to relaunch! 

The Rare Welsh Bit will still offer all of the restaurant reviews, product reviews, recipes and events that you could find on the blog before, but it will no longer focus solely upon Wales and it will now also feature travel reviews (including transport, accommodation and destination/local attractions) from both the UK and beyond. Over the next week or so you can expect a series of restaurant reviews from Negril, Jamaica and a tried-and-tested recipe for jerk chicken with rice and peas.
Who knows where I’ll be heading next?!
