Treat the foodie in your life this Christmas with a Ciao Gusto Italian food hamper

Wondering what to get this Christmas for someone who loves food? Forget traditional Christmas hampers full of chutneys and condiments that’ll never get used, or tacky cookery kits from the Boots 3 for 2 range.

Show the foodie in your life you’ve put some thought into their present by giving them a personalised Christmas hamper full of goodies from Ocado’s Italian shop, Ciao Gusto.

Ciao Gusto brings a collection of market-leading Italian food and drink brands together in one place, making it easy to find all the authentic ingredients you need to enjoy an irresistible Italian feast.

With hundreds of authentic Italian imported products to choose from, you could create the perfect hamper for a cheese lover, wine connoisseur, pasta fan or tapas addict.

Using products from Ciao Gusto, I’ve created an Italian Christmas food hamper for a friend who loves to cook. The hamper contains everything they need to concoct a mouthwatering three-course meal, including ingredients for an antipasti sharing platter to start, followed by spaghetti Bolognese or four cheese and mushroom spaghetti for main course, and limoncino cake for dessert. To wash all that down, I included a bottle of Prosecco, and a bottle of red wine (also intended for use in the Bolognese sauce
