With over 1,500 greetings cards, hundreds of gifts, inflatable helium balloons and fresh flowers, Moonpig is your one-stop shop for Christmas. Recently, Moonpig invited me to their virtual Christmas event so they could show me exactly what they’ve got in store for us this year. It was really interesting to find out more about the latest Moonpig christmas cards, food and drink gifts and more, not to mention gaining some much-needed gift inspiration of my own.

With November upon us, I don’t think it’s too soon to mention the ‘C’ word anymore. With Wales currently under lockdown until 9th November and England locking down from today until 2nd December, we all need something positive to look forward to right now. While Christmas might look quite different to usual this year, after the stresses of 2020, the thought of unwinding and hopefully spending time with family at Christmas is one of few things many of us will have to be excited about until 2021.
In any case, it might pay to start thinking about Christmas a little earlier this year. Normally, I’m a relatively last minute shopper, doing most of my shopping in the final few weeks of December. This year, however, I’ll be buying my Christmas gifts as early on as possible, aiming to avoid queuing in a stuffy mask and knowing the pressure that online delivery services will be under as Christmas approaches.
What to expect from Moonpig Christmas cards, gifts and flowers
With over 1,500 Christmas cards, a variety of flowers and plants, themed balloons and a selection of gifts to choose from, Moonpig has got Christmas covered. With many of us seeking to stay safe at home and avoid the high street this year, here are just a few reasons to consider shopping online with Moonpig throughout the festive season.
Personalised Moonpig Christmas cards
One of the coolest features Moonpig has introduced for Christmas its new Christmas card personalisation app, which enables you to add a personal touch to your Moonpig Christmas cards. Customise your cards by changing their sizes, adding your favourite photos and/or writing a personal message – you can even upload your own handwritten message if you like (currently, this is only available to iPhone users).

Check out this personalised card I created for my Mum and her partner. It really has the wow factor and I know they’ll love it, but the best part of all is that it only took me a minute or so to personalise – all I had to do was amend the text on the front of the card, write my message inside and add the address to the envelope. In fact, you can even get help with writing the perfect message, thanks to Moonpig’s message suggestion feature.

Are you the kind of person who forgets birthdays (hold your hands up, I know you’re out there!)? You’re going to love Moonpig’s birthday reminder tool! Simply add those all-important dates to your calendar and Moonpig will let you know when it’s time to send a card – and even save addresses for you, too.

If you’re sending different cards to the same address – perhaps to greet family who you may not be seeing in person for Christmas this year – rest assured that you’ll only pay one postage cost and, if you like, you can sign off your card from two people rather than just one.
You can access Moonpig’s Christmas card personalisation feature by downloading the Moonpig app for iOS or Android (although some features are currently only available on iOS), choosing one of Moonpig’s Christmas cards and selecting ‘Personalise’.
Festive food and drink gifts
Up until now, I thought Moonpig specialised solely in greetings cards. Little did I know that they actually offer a rather extensive range of food and drink gifts too – my favourite kind of presents to give and to receive!
With more and more of us enjoying a tipple at home over lockdown, Moonpig stock a range of alcoholic spirits, wines and champagnes to choose from this Christmas.

Just take this Belvedere Vodka, for example. It tasted great in the cocktails that mixologist, Conor from Mix and Twist showed us how to make. My favourite was the Vodka Garden – a refreshing combination of Belvedere Vodka with lime juice, sugar syrup, mint, elderflower soda and fresh cucumber.

My mum loves Belgian chocolate and I couldn’t resist treating her to this lavishly wrapped box of Guylian Ballotin chocolate seashells. She knows how much I love them, so no doubt she’ll offer me one or two as well – win-win!
Seasonal bouquets and plants
With a wide selection of floral bouquets and house plants to choose from, Moonpig offer the ideal way to put a smile on that special someone’s face this Christmas. Whether you’re shopping for the big day or perhaps celebrating a festive birthday, you’re bound to find something to suit the occasion.

All of Moonpig’s flowers are sourced from British and Fairtrade farms, with each step of their journey handled with the utmost care. Each bouquet is designed and hand-tied in house, before being packaged in Moonpig’s signature nourishing wrap and packed into a protective parcel. Each bouquet is delivered within a two-hour SMS window and, once arrived (in bud to preserve freshness), they’ll stay fresh for at least five days. Not only is the range ideal for Christmas gifting and table displays, but it’s also useful for anyone thinking of sending flowers while travelling or sending flowers as a long-distance gift during the festive season.
For Christmas 2020, Moonpig have a range of festive floral bouquets on offer. I was kindly sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers featuring red and ‘Upper Secret’ roses, white wax flowers, white eryngium and artificial red berries, paired with varied foliage including champagne-sprayed asparagus fern, eucalyptus cinerea, pistache, skimmia and birch twigs. I was really taken aback by the quality of the whole bouquet and both the flowers and foliage stayed fresh for well over a week!
We used our festive floral bouquets to make stunning centrepieces for our dining tables. What do you think of our creations?

It’s surprising how easy and enjoyable flower-arranging can be. All you need is some Oasis floral foam to stick the flowers into and an appropriate container to slot the foam into. Start by inserting the foliage around the edges, always at an angle. Then, start adding the other elements of your bouquet, finishing with your focal flowers.
So, if you’re feeling flustered at the thought of Christmas shopping during the pandemic, don’t be. Even if you don’t want to leave the comfort of your own home, Christmas doesn’t have to be cancelled. Simply download the Moonpig app or visit the Moonpig website to make a start on your Christmas shopping today!

I have to admit with family across the UK I often turn to Moonpig to help get presents and cards to the right people on time. I will probably end up using them this Christmas as well.
I think they will be popular this Christmas; their service is so convenient and I was impressed with the quality of their fresh flowers.
I love Moonpig and have just order a few personalised Christmas cards with them for the grandparents and close family members. A great way to send meaningful family photos to them whilst we are in lockdown. I can’t wait to order their flowers next
Aww, lovely to hear you are a Moonpig fan too. I’ll be using them for a few of my Christmas cards this year and perhaps a bouquet of flowers too!
I love moonpig but I didn’t know they had so much available!
I love the idea of festive flowers x
Their flower range is stunning; I’m not sure if the Christmas flowers are on the website yet but the ones I was sent were beautiful.
I’ve heard the Moonpig events are awesome! I was surprised at everything Moonpig offers these days, certainly made celebrating occasions during lockdown easier, with the ability to send cards and gifts to people! That seasonal bouquet looks beautiful, the rose has a lovely vintage vibe to it! Sim x
I had a really good time and I don’t often go to blogger events these days. It was fun and lovely to have something to get involved with from home, as I don’t see people often these days hehe. That bouquet was lovely; it was just like something I’d have chosen myself.
I always shop with Moonpig but have been doing so even more during the pandemic as we can’t see people so I’ve had to send them gifts rather than take them to them.
It can be a really lovely way to show someone you care on their birthday or another special occasion but during lockdown I found I sent people lots of ‘pick-me-up gifts’ too and I can see how Moonpig might be useful for that kind of thing.
I swear by Moonpig’s cards – I love that can send cards without leaving home and also personalise them. I’ve never tried their gifts though – I’ll have to have a look for Christmas!
I love their range too, being able to personalise them is a lovely gesture especially if you can’t be with someone in person this year <3
Moonpig is so useful for gifting from a distance! I’ve sent people all sorts of cool things (like a phone case with their dog on it!) as just because gifts and I’ve always been really impressed by the service I’ve received!
I couldn’t agree more, they have a few products on their website which could make for really thoughtful gifts and I’ve always loved their cards and fresh flowers.
I do love Moonpig and have used them more this year than I usually do due to lockdown. I haven’t looked at their Christmas range yet
I love their range too, their cards are great and I was really impressed at how long my flowers stayed fresh.
I absolutely love the Moonpig cards and gifts can be made so personal! It’s such a thoughtful gift to give for any occasion 🙂
I love them too. I wasn’t aware they did such a wide range of food and drink gifts too.
We love Moonpig. We have lots of family who live miles away so Moonpig is perfect for us for sending them cards. Love the personal touch.
Glad you think so, I love their service too 🙂
I really love the range of cards and other things that Moonpig have. we have been using them so much this year as its been difficult to get out and get cards so Moonpig is making life so much easier.
Me too Jenni 🙂 I’ve found their service to be of great use in the past too.
That Christmas card is lovely, such a nice design. I love using Moon Pig to send cards and gifts.
Thank you, glad you like the design I went with in the end.
