Jaipur
The capital and largest city in Rajasthan, India, Jaipur is also known as the Pink City because Maharajah Ram Singh allegedly painted the city pink to welcome Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria in 1876. However, this isn’t all the region is so well-known for.

Dubai
With strict regulations on the purity of gold and metal sold, Dubai has long been regarded as one of the best places to buy silver and gold. At the Gold Souk (covered market), you’ll find hundreds of jewellery retailers under one roof – many of whom specialise in gold. If you’re shopping for engagement rings, this is a great place to go as you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Once you’ve finished jewellery shopping, pay a visit to a popular local attraction like Burj Khalifa, Motiongate or MOTF, or visit some of the best high-end restaurants and clubs Dubai has to offer.
UK
While you might not realise it, the UK jewellery market actually has a lot of offer. Being as this is such a popular place to get hitched, it’s no surprise that it’s a great destination for jewellery shopping, with a number of retailers specialising in engagement and wedding rings, including Tiffany and Co and Swarovski.
Once you’ve tied the knot, head to one of Las Vegas’ fancy casinos or clubs and stay in a lavish hotel room for the night.

The only issue with Switzerland is the expense! Although I did enjoy browsing the watch shops in Zurich 🙂 I’m terrible though, I am too attached to my Garmin to consider another watch…
I haven’t been before but I’ve heard it can be expensive. I’m not a watch wearer, they feel odd on my wrist for some reason and I’m so used to using my phone to check the time now.
I buy most of my jewellery in this county, between Hatton Garden and Birmingham they’re great for jewellery x
There are some great places to shop for jewellery in the UK too. I can never find anything like the stuff I saw here in Jaipur over here though. I’d love to go back one day with more money for shopping! 🙂

Yeah, same here, it’s much easier to buy it in the UK if you can but you can find interesting one-off pieces sometimes whilst travelling.
