With almost every large hotel boasting a restaurant with a famous name, it’s no surprise that celebrity chefs have found a haven in Las Vegas. In fact, so-called ‘Sin City’ is a melting pot of Instagram-worthy eats and exciting cuisine, cooked up by some of the world’s best chefs.

So, where can we find the best foods in Las Vegas? Let’s take a look at some of the best places to eat on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as on Las Vegas Boulevard, to whet your appetite.

Beef Wellington at Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen

Walking into Hell’s Kitchen feels just like stepping onto one of Gordon Ramsey’s television sets. From the larger than life, open-exhibition kitchen to the chefs costumed as ‘teams’ in red and blue, everything in here looks rather extravagant.

One of the most highly recommended dishes is the Beef Wellington, served with potato purée, glazed root vegetables and a red wine demi-glace.

Signature drinks feature bourbon and scotch, alongside a few smokey alternatives for patient sipping. The beer list is also excellent, featuring a large range of craft beers, while there are several wines available by the glass.

Sunday roast at the McMullan’s Irish pub

Having recently celebrated its 20th birthday, McMullan’s Irish Pub had been named the ‘Best Irish Eatery in the West’ by the Las Vegas Weekly.

With specials like Sunday roast dinner and all-you-can-eat fish and chips, you’ll be spoilt for choice here. To drink, take your pick from daily beer specials, beer tastings, and happy hour afternoons and evenings.

Tomahawk steak at Primal Steakhouse

Taking a seat at Primal Steakhouse is akin to journeying to another universe. The décor is reminiscent of a Game of Thrones episode, complete with darkly illuminated faux chandeliers and decor. There are no televisions here – a purposeful move, aimed at creating mood and encouraging social interaction.

Angel Lopez, a Guatemalan-born chef, has crafted a diverse menu spanning different tastes, all served by some of the valley’s friendliest and most accommodating staff.

The tomahawk steak – which costs $155, currently – is the house speciality. All the drinks, such as the Viking Punch, are themed.

Mexican cuisine at Juan’s Flaming Fajitas & Cantina

Juan’s Flaming Fajitas has something for everyone, from delicious marinated steaks, pork, chicken and seafood, to vegetarian cuisine and traditional sweets. This is a terrific spot to sit and enjoy your favourite meal — or a world-class margarita from the cantina — with tastes influenced by classic Mexican meals. What’s more, they also offer a children’s menu, designed for customers aged 10 and under.

With a focus on high-quality, fresh ingredients, Juan’s is open for lunch, brunch, dinner, and cocktails, as well as offering private catering options.
